Cartoon Network to open first hotel summer 2019

Pack your bags for Pennsylvania and get ready to experience the animated worlds of Cartoon Network like never before with the Network’s first hotel.

The new nine-acre property in Central Pennsylvania will come to life through Cartoon Network’s new partnership with Palace Entertainment, which currently owns and operates more than 20 amusement parks, water parks and family entertainment centers across the United States and Australia.

The Cartoon Network hotel is set to be a premier family lodging experience, inviting guests into the wonderful and wacky worlds of Cartoon Network shows like “Adventure Time,” “We Bare Bears” and “The Powerpuff Girls.”

With 165 rooms, an interactive lobby, an outdoor amphitheater, a water play zone and more, the Cartoon Network Hotel will have unique and immersive experiences around every corner.

“With just the right mix of technology, design and animation, we’re aiming to bring our characters to life in a way that we haven’t seen done before”, said Christina Miller, President Cartoon Network-Adult Swim- Boomerang. “We can’t wait to be part of many family vacations with the ultimate Cartoon Network experience.”

The property will feature an interchangeable show theme in each room, allowing fans to customize their experience and make each visit an adventure.

The hotel will expand Cartoon Network’s international portfolio of premier family experiences, offering a brand-new resort-style pool and water play zone, game rooms, a kids’ play area, lawn games, fire pits and more.

“This is going to be a game changer,” said Rolf Paegert, Chief Operating Officer of Palace Entertainment. “With sleek contemporary designs that parents will appreciate and Easter egg-type surprises for kids throughout the resort, the entire family will love this place. Cartoon Network’s stories and themes appeal to everyone in a fun whimsical way.”

The property is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019.
